About Paradise Construction
Paradise Construction is a partnership company between Paul Tsakiris and Costas Krasakis.
Paul Tsakiris is also the CEO of the successful First Western Properties, a real estate and construction company based in Chicago. Paul is Greek American and for many years has wanted to return to the place he loves the most in the world: Crete. He was very keen in developing projects in Crete that would be “stand out” and something he could be proud of and when the right opportunity presented itself he was ready to get involved:
Costas is the founder and CEO of CostAnita Villas real estate agency and one of the few developers who grew up in the Almyrida area. As such he has in depth knowledge of the local land and all the best places to build. He is also well known, liked and trusted in the community with both local Greeks and Non Greek residents.
Together Paul and Costas founded Paradise Construction, a Cretan construction company to build exceptional houses and villas or to renovate an old Cretan house to give it new glow. We want to realise your dream living in Crete.

Costas Krasakis
CEO
Costas previously worked for one of Australia’s top carpentry firms working with new materials and learning all the latest building methods. He gained an Australian perspective on unique and individual building styles and detail which he likes to incorporate into his projects. He is well respected and grew up with most of the contractors in the area. The local quality tradesmen are happy to work alongside Kosta and his team. This assures our clients that they will not only get the best price but also a quality construction from every tradesman.
Paul Tsakiris
CEO
Paul Tsakiris founded First Western Properties, Inc. in 1999 and is a leading figure in Chicago’s real estate community. Mr. Tsakiris has appeared as an expert guest on Stock Market Observer, the Chicago Real Estate Council and is frequently quoted in publications such as the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, as well as Crain’s Chicago Business. He has also written articles published in Chicago Realtor Magazine.
His extensive real estate background includes:
Award Winning Brokerage Results; Mr. Tsakiris has earned numerous sales awards including: CoStar Power Broker, Top Multi-family Sales, Top Investment Sales, Top Retail Leasing by the Chicago Association of Realtors. He has also been recognized in the Wall Street Journ-Development of Retail and Medical facilities both locally and abroad.

Acquisition and Turn-Around of under-performing retail properties
Acquisition and Rehab of over 1,500 decimated apartment units, resulting in 6 Good Neighbor Awards; an award given to projects that have the greatest positive impact on a community.
Receivership and REO Advisory to a wide range of debt investors from local community banks to large institutional clients.
Prior to founding First Western Properties, Mr. Tsakiris worked as a Sales Associate with Hallmark and Johnson.

Giannis is our mechanical engineer with a degree in environmental engineering. He helps Kostas to overlook our building sites making sure every construction site is running smoothly.
Stefanos Samios
Engineer
Stefanos is an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in the civil engineering industry and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Crete. He has a proven track record in planning, organizing, designing, and managing civil engineering projects from inception to completion. He is skilled in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with all relevant standards and specifications.

Meike Lechat
Project and Sales Manager
Meike grew up and graduated in Biotechnology in Germany. She lived, studied and worked in Spain, Australia and Greece and finally decided to install herself in Crete 12 years ago. She started to work in Holiday Rentals and is the CEO of her own company exporting Cretan products to Germany and France. Since 2019 Meike works for CostAnitaVillas and Paradise Constructions as a sales manager and real estate consultant.
Meike speaks English, German, French and Greek and will assist you throughout the whole building process from planning to finish.
Maria Chavaledakis
Administration & Client Communication
Born and raised in Kalyves, Maria Chavaledaki is deeply familiar with the area and its unique needs. With a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Organizations and professional background that includes leadership experience in the tourism and agri-business sectors, Maria has honed her skills in leadership, communication, and client relations. Prior to joining the construction industry, Maria served as the CEO of Mill.o.petres, a traditional olive oil press, where she gained valuable experience in operations, hospitality and customer service. At Paradise Construction, she manages administration and client communication, ensuring seamless operations and fostering strong, lasting relationships with clients. Maria is known for her organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence
Matt Wilson
Estate Agent
Matt comes to us from the hospitality industry where he and his wife ran a successful hotel, prior to that he worked as a senior District Manager for the Dollar Financial Group working in the US, Canada, UK and southern Ireland. He earned his degree from the University of Southampton, UK in 2003 and has more than 15 years of managerial and operational experience. Matt lives in Crete with his family since 5 years and joined our team at CostAnitaVillas as a market manager.

Georgos was born in Athens and grew up in Crete. He has been working as a Sales & Lettings Negotiator in Crete and London with 12 years of experience in real estate.
