Every architectural decision, from the handcrafted natural stone and traditional arches to the exposed timber ceilings, was carefully considered to create a residence that honours Cretan architecture while meeting the expectations of contemporary luxury living.

Architecture Inspired by Crete

Designed to celebrate the character of traditional Cretan homes, Lumidana combines natural stone masonry, vaulted archways and handcrafted architectural details with clean contemporary living spaces. Rather than following modern trends, the design embraces local materials and craftsmanship, creating a residence that sits naturally within the Cretan landscape while offering every modern convenience.

Living Spaces

The villa is arranged across two levels, balancing everyday functionality with elegant architectural design. The ground floor features two spacious bedrooms, two contemporary bathrooms and an open-plan kitchen and living area that opens directly onto the outdoor terraces, allowing natural light to flow throughout the home. The first floor is dedicated to the private owner’s suite, complete with a walk-in wardrobe, a Moroccan-inspired en-suite bathroom and a generous terrace overlooking the sea and surrounding countryside.
